Wendy T. Chan

Interim CEO and Director

Ms. Chan has over 20 years’ experience in developing and executing strategic plans for major companies with global outreach, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint-ventures, and cross-cultural strategic alliances. In the mining space, companies she has worked with include: Zijin Mining, Skeena Resources, Roxgold, Sunridge, Novo Resources, Vendetta, and VR Resources. She has profitably managed businesses with full P&L responsibilities and/or completed key projects ranging from $2-250MM. She has devised strategic plans at Fortune 500 companies and has led negotiations and cross-functional teams in corporate development, marketing, strategic alliances, and product portfolio management. During her time at Moxie Strategy Inc., a management consulting firm that specializes in strategy, business development, and mergers and acquisition, she has led and completed key development projects in Asia, Australia, Africa, North and South America. Ms. Chan holds a BSc. from University of British Columbia and an MBA in Finance from McGill University. She is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.

Gary Nassif

P.Geo., M.Sc.

Senior Vice President

Mr. Gary Nassif is a professional geologist with over twenty-five years’ experience in gold, base-metal and diamond exploration in Canada, United States and sub-Saharan Africa. He was Senior Vice President of Sprott Mining’s Jerritt Canyon Gold during its successful turnaround, re-start, operations and production up until its sale to First Majestic Silver in 2021.   He is also President & CEO of Argentum Silver Corp. and a Director of Inventus Mining and Warrior Gold. He was previously Manager of Exploration Services for several juniors including Trelawney Mining & Exploration prior to its sale to IAMGOLD for $608 million in 2012. He holds an M.Sc. in Geology (McGill University), a B.Sc. in Geology (Concordia University) and a Certificate in Mining Law from Osgoode Hall.   Mr. Nassif has been a Director of Stratabound since May 2020.

Buddy Doyle

Vice President Exploration

Mr. Doyle has 25 years’ experience in mineral exploration. He worked for Rio Tinto PLC for over 23 years; most recently he was Exploration Vice President of Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. (owned by Rio Tinto), in charge of diamond exploration in North America. He was a key member of the Kennecott Exploration Australia team that discovered the multi-million ounce Minifie gold deposits at Lihir in 1987-1988 and led the team which discovered the Diavik diamond deposits in 1994-1995. Few geologists have seen 2 projects from discovery through to decision to mine. Mr. Doyle is recognized by his peers in the exploration industry as an authority on diamond exploration and kimberlite geology and has authored/co-authored numerous papers on these subjects. He was awarded the 2007 Hugo Dummitt Award for excellence in Diamond exploration. Since leaving Rio Tinto Mr. Doyle has remained active in the diamond sector through consultancy and directorships. As CEO of Amarillo Gold from 2004 to 2017 he oversaw a near-production gold project in Brazil and he was founder and a director of Western Potash from 2007-2017, which discovered and developed the now-in-production Milestone Potash Project in Saskatchewan. Additionally, Mr. Doyle is a Fellow of AusIMM, a professional association. Mr. Doyle brings to the Company a disciplined scientific approach to mineral exploration and managerial skills that have a proven track record. He holds a BSc in Applied Geology from the Queensland University of Technology.

Keith Boyle

Fremont Gold Project Director

Mr. Keith Boyle is a mining engineer with over 37 years of international mining experience including 14 years as a Chief Operating Officer for junior mining companies where he has successfully led these organizations through the stages of feasibility, mine development, and successful operations while increasing and upgrading mineral resources, optimizing efficiencies and increasing net present value. In his early career Mr. Boyle held progressive positions with Cominco Ltd (now Teck), Aur Resources Inc, Placer Dome Ltd, Inco Ltd, and Dynatec Corp, before assuming his senior executive positions.

Mr. Boyle’s specific focus will be on bringing the company’s advanced-stage flagship Fremont Gold Project through to production.

Brendan Blair

Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary

Mr. Brendan Blair has over fifteen years’ experience in professional accountancy firms including four years as a Partner of LNS Chartered Professional Accountants.  He has a strong background in corporate governance, accounting standards, controls and audit requirements, regulatory and tax compliance, and cash management, amongst other duties, with a focus on assisting public mining companies in Canada. He currently sits on the Audit and Assurance Standards Board as one of fourteen Board Members responsible for setting audit and related services standards across Canada. Mr. Blair also serves as the Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee and Treasurer of Carya, a not-for-profit organization.
